This is just a small program I made to remove the colored dot that sometimes appeared on the screen of my new Thinkpad. After realizing that there were lots of other people with the same problem, I decided to offer it for download.

If your screen sometimes has what appears to be a stuck pixel that isn't always in the same place, this might be what you're looking for. I thought my thinkpad had a bad display when I originally saw it, until I played with it and realized it was just a tiny one-pixel window that appears sometimes. All this program does is hide it.

The file is named RepentSyn.exe as a play on the fact that the window it hides is titled "Syn Visual Window". When I see "Syn", I want to pronounce it like "Sin". Since wiping away "sin" involves repenting, I decided to call this program "RepentSyn". I'll leave it up to you to figure out why it displays "Your Syn has been forgiven" when it's done. ;)

This program is very easy to use! Just run it if you see what appears to be a stuck pixel. If it goes away, keep this program handy so you can run it again when the pixel comes back.

In the future, I might make a version that you only have to run once. That version would then run silently in the background, and you'd never see the "stuck" pixel again.
